John's Gardein Golden Fishless Filets with Szechuan Spicy Black Bean Sauce

ingredients:
- 1 package Frozen Gardein Golden Fish Filets, cooked per package instructions
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1/2 small green cabbage, sliced thin
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
- 1 large thumb ginger, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced (separate green and white sections)
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup tamari
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/8 cup toasted sesame oil
- 2 large tbsp fermented black bean garlic sauce
- 2 large tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp water
steps:
1. mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and set aside
2. mix tamari, rice wine vinegar and toasted sesame oil in a small bowl and set aside
3. in a wok, on high heat, stir fry onions in olive oil until they start to become transparent
4. add bell pepper slices, cabbage and white part of scallions and stir-fry until tender
5. add ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes and stir in
6. add chili paste and black bean sauce and let sizzle in the wok
7. add tamari, sesame oil, vinegar mixture and bring to a boil
8. add cornstarch and water mixture and stir fry until sauce begins to thicken
9. remove from heat and toss in green part of scallions
10. serve with rice and steamed broccoli
