Apple Pie Oatmeal
Apple Pie Oatmeal
(serves one generously)
ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp flax seeds, ground
- 1 cup oat milk, unsweetened
- 1/2 apple, skin on, diced small
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon (i used 2)
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- himalayan pink salt, just the tiniest sprinkle
- 6-8 walnuts
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
steps:
1. place oats and ground flax seeds in a sauce pan over medium heat and toast lightly stirring constantly
2. add oat milk, diced apple, pure vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup and cook until oats soak up most of the liquid and your oatmeal is the desired consistency
3. Pour out into your favorite bowl, and garnish with walnuts, hemp seeds and chia seeds
